The thing that I enjoyed the most is picking out all the pictures. I found it difficult to record. I felt awkward. I probably won't use this in my personal life, because I hate the sound of my own voice.

Technology is important because it is becoming more and more part of our daily lives, most jobs now require you to know basic computer knowledge. Technology has changed in the past five years by being more advanced  and having more of it in your daily life as I said. I think in the next five years that almost everything will be all technology and there will be no use for human workers because everything will be automatic.

The type of technology that I use in school is mostly Microsoft products including word, publisher, and power point. The technology that I use for personal use is I-pod, cellphone, and the internet.

I think I will use I-Google and probably avatars. The most practical tools are the Google or the online lessons. I think I will never use Delicious, RSS feed and maybe podcast. My favorite to create would be my I-Google or blog. My least favorite was the wiki, the one where you had to record your voice. I really didn't like that one because it was awkward when you were trying to record.

CyberBully Movie

I thought the movie was good. Its was a little over dramatic though. Like when she couldn't get the pill bottle open. I thought the movie was a pretty good representation of we have talked about in class. Some similarities are that most kids usually commit/try to commit suicide. Some differences are that at the end most kids wouldn't stand up to the bully at the end, and tell them to stop harassing them.This case was similar to the Meyers case, which started some of the states to have laws about cyberbulling.

Podcast summary

I listened to this podcast and it was about Adele, the bird. When Adele was at the British awards while she was giving her thank you speech she was cut off and she gave the middle finger to the guys in suits who cut her off. Her fans were shocked that she did that because they thought that they were flicking them off but later tweeted that she was flicking off the guys in suits that cut her off. On other news, Adele had the biggest post grammy's sales since 1991. Over 700,000.

I did not really enjoy learning about Adele by just listening I like it better when I can see what is happening. I do however like it better than reading an article. I think the choose to do a pod cast because people rather listen to something then read it. The information was true but the comments that came along with it were opinion based.

Technology Article Summary

A fair labor association starting inspecting a factory in China where many I pod products are made. Many deaths have occurred at this one site. Many have commited suicide at this plant by jumping off the roof. There was also an explosion that killed 3 and injured 15, because this apple joined a group to improve labor conditions. Since that their sales have skyrocketed.

New Blog Post

I think that blabberize is easier to use because you don't have to create a avatar and then record. With Blabberize you just take a picture and set the mouth this takes a little bit of time up but not too bad. I liked Voki the best because you could just type in what you wanted to say but I thought it was better than hearing my voice. I would probably use Blabberize again for History or English to make a author or important figure talk.

Online safety

The most important aspect of online safety and protecting yourself online is to not share your personal information. Wait I'm supposed to be educating 6th graders. They should look for people who talk to them all the time and are really nice to them and offer to send you money or gifts. They should use their common sense online if you wouldn't want your parents to see what your doing online then you shouldn't be on it online. You should practice proper netiquette because it is how people online and it could effect you in the future. You should be concerned about ID theft now because it could affect you in the long run when you get a  job and they could still steal your money.

Tracking Teresa

I watched this video about how people online can find out alot about you. Teresa only gave out her phone nhumber and the time she was going to be home. I have put out personal information. The most important thing to remember when on the internet is to not give out personal information.

Netiquette

Netiquette is a set of rules for behavior online. It effects everyone and how you act online such as what you post on to Facebook. Some good examples of netiquette are respecting people online and not getting into fights over the internet. Some examples of poor netiquette is to getting into fights over the internet, and posting some not so good pictures.

What is a social network? A social network is a website that you can interact with other people, and is a user based website. A digital footprint is like marking your initials everywhere you go. You can look up all the sites that you have been to. Social networking affects your digital footprint because if you post something online a job interviewer can look up your blog or Facebook, and see what you were saying online.

You might have Lime Wire and think that it is totally legal, but its not. You share music peer to peer. Even though they might of payed for that song you didn't there for you do not have the rights to own that song. It is a violation to pay for a song then copy it and give it someone else. Downloading music in general is illegal unless you pay for it. For online infringement of copyrighted music is punishable up to three years in jail and up to a 250,000 dollar fine. So to save your self money and time in jail just buy the song or CD or whatever on a place like I tunes. One more thing to try to encourage you to buy music legally is that with lime wire and sites like it carry viruses, and viruses can cause your computer to crass losing even more money.

Country Wrap up

Hey peoples! So I had to do a project in class about a country mine was Venezuela. Now I have to post about it. Fun right? Haha. I learn that Venezuela has the worlds tallest waterfall. My strong points were my presentation in in self. Me, not so much. I hate presenting to the class. I can't look at them or else I get freaked out. Yepp. Im cool. To Mrs. Fowler: Give us more time to work on the project. And PLEASE don't make us present. Okay. Byee!

Happy New Year

My highlight of 2011 was going into high school and making varsity cheer. I don't remember my low point which is probably a good thing. I would of done nothing differently because I can't remember my low points. I don't have any goals for 2012. I'm kinda boring. If I was given 100,000 to start the new year I would buy myself a car and a whole bunch of Taco Bell. I would buy a whole bunch of beefy crunch burritos. :)
